Bailey Clark

Assistant Coach

Bailey began her tennis life at the age of 8 when she picked up a racquet for the first time and started training at Topspin Tennis Academy, District Park in Newcastle, in 2011.

She trained there for 5 years, competing in junior tournaments and leagues before taking a break from tennis for a while in 2016.

In 2020, Bailey rediscovered her love of tennis and started training 4 days per week under Head Coach Derek Cagney to get her game back to its best, with a view of commencing a career as a professional tennis coach. During this time, she has continued playing tournaments and leagues, as well as working intensively with a local footwork and conditioning coach since mid 2020 which has made a dramatic difference to her movement, confidence and overall tennis game on court.

Bailey has completed the Tennis Australia Community Coaching Course and is currently completing her Tennis Australia Junior Development Coaching Course as the next step to accreditation as a fully qualified Tennis Australia Coach Member and professional tennis coach. We are lucky to have such a driven, young and enthusiastic coach who loves helping her clients and seeing them progress to levels they only dreamt of.
