The largest home and away multi venue / multi timeslot competition for junior players in the Hunter, our Friday Junior Competition is conducted on Friday afternoons over a 9 week period comprising 7 rounds, with semi finals in week 8 and a grand final in week 9. The format of play is 2 players per team, graded into divisions of 7-8 teams based on ability, rather than age, with each player playing 1 set of singles and 1 set of doubles in a 90 minute match. The matches are based at clubs across Lake Macquarie at Cagney Tennis Academy, Valentine, Belmont, Redhead, Dudley & Hillsborough. This competition caters to all juniors from beginner right through to advanced.
