"The coaches are so wonderful with the children. I love listening and watching them teach, and the kids just respond so well. The whole business is so professional. Can’t speak highly enough of the academy."

"What an incredible Tennis Centre! The strong sense of community both the coaching staff and the other members made me feel incredibly welcome. In just a few terms of entry level tennis lessons I’ve quickly become more than just a student in a class. The culture is friendship, highly supportive, encouraging, and really push you to achieve your personal best. Highly recommend it to anyone with or without any experience."

"Facilities are excellent and well maintained"

The coaching at West Wallsend Tennis Courts is fantastic. It’s run by Cagney Tennis Academy, who have recently added this centre to their coaching locations and couldn’t rate it any higher. Coach Liam is incredibly fun, patient, and understanding, making every session enjoyable and stress-free. He always tailors sessions to suit the kids he’s coaching. I’ve had my kids in lessons for a while and even decided to give it a go myself. The facilities are excellent and well maintained, creating a great environment to learn and improve. Highly recommend.

"Courts are very well maintained"

The owner is very nice and the courts are very well maintained. Been playing with some mates and it has been a blast highly recommend this Tennis court.

"Welcoming and friendly."

I love my adult beginner classes and everyone has been welcoming and friendly. Coaches professional & make classes fun.

"A fantastic place to learn and enjoy"

Cagney Tennis Academy at Fletcher Tennis Courts is a fantastic place to learn and enjoy the game! 🎾 I had the best time in the adult group lessons—the coaching was top-notch, with clear instructions and plenty of encouragement. The sessions were fun, engaging, and a great way to improve skills while meeting fellow tennis enthusiasts. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your technique, this academy offers a welcoming and supportive environment. Highly recommend for anyone keen to pick up or get better at tennis! 💪✨

"We absolutely love Cagney"

We absolutely love Cagney Tennis Academy. I played tennis here as a kid, and now I’m back with my own children getting coaching here too!

I have no doubt that all the coaches are great, but personally our experience has been with Derek and Paris. They are fantastic. They’re brilliant at helping kids feel success and confidence, while encouraging them to want to keep striving for improvement – the perfect combination.

My kids always leave feeling proud of what they’ve achieved and excited to come back for the next lesson. Couldn’t recommend them more highly. 🎾

"Always provides constructive feedback"

Cannot recommend Cagney Tennis Academy highly enough! Owner Louise rang me to respond to an email enquiry I had sent regarding lessons for our kids, and I was immediately sold after this conversation. The fact she had taken the time to speak with me directly was a nice personal touch. We’ve spent a little over a term now with coach Paris and we absolutely love her! We could tell from the very first lesson that Paris was an amazing coach – she always provides constructive feedback and focuses on technique. She is friendly and just a lovely person all round! The kids cannot wait for their lessons each week, they love it, connect well with Paris & we enjoy watching too! They are looking forward to continuing their tennis journey this year!

"Best experience I’ve ever had."

Derek is extremely professional. Whether you want to improve your game or just have fun, the knowledge and passion Derek brings to sessions is invaluable. I have been to several tennis centres in the past and Cagney Tennis Academy is by far the best experience I’ve ever had.

"Great to deal with"

The Courts are in very good condition. The clubhouse and facilities are good. Louise and Derek are great to deal with and very helpful.
