Wayne Boyce — Senior Tennis Coach at Cagney Tennis Academy
Wayne Boyce brings almost 40 years of coaching experience to Cagney Tennis Academy. His tennis career has taken him across three continents and through some of the most respected tennis centres in the world.
Wayne began coaching in 1984 in Cancun, Mexico. He then moved to the USA, coaching at tennis clubs in San Francisco and Los Angeles from 1985 to 1992.
In 1993, he relocated to London and spent the next 25 years coaching at leading clubs, including the well-known Queen’s Club, one of the most prestigious venues in England.
Wayne later returned home and coached in Sydney at top tennis centres and schools until 2021. In 2022, he moved back to Newcastle and joined Cagney Tennis Academy, where he now coaches players across Eleebana, Fletcher, Lakelands, Valentine and the wider Newcastle area.
Over his long career, Wayne has learned from many professional and head coaches, as well as tennis business leaders. His experience helps players of all ages improve their technique, confidence and understanding of the game.
